Glossary Item Box

Overview

Custom terminology allows you to define the retail terminology used within your business. Once defined, terminology automatically appears on criteria forms and reports. For more information on defining custom terminology refer to the article Custom Terminology.

Criteria Form

Refer to the article Report Criteria Form Standard Field Operation for help with the standard criteria form fields.

The following table describes the operation of non-standard fields where appropriate.

Field Description
Report Date This date field identifies the date of store productivity.
Sort By This drop-down field will sort the report depending on the selected value.
Asc/Desc This drop-down field defines if the rows will increase or decrease in the sort order. Asc stands for Ascending, while Desc stands for Descending.

Column Description
WTD Qty, MTD Qty This column shows the total items sold in that  given time period.
WTD Sales, MTD Sales  This column shows appropriate date ranges total sales value.  If it is in the week to date portion of the report then it is the week to date sales for the individual employee.  If it is in the Month to date portion of the report then it is the month to date sales for the individual employee.  The Dollar amount excludes returned sales.
WTD Avg Item, MTD Avg Items This column shows the sales dollar value divided by the units within the given time period. This figure gives the user the average sale price per item.
WTD GP%, MTD GP% This is the actual profit made within the given time period. The GP figure excludes returned sales.
WTD Sell Hrs, MTD Sell Hrs This is the total worked selling hours of the employee for the specific date range.
WTD Productivity, MTD Productivity This column shows the Sales Dollar value divided by hours. This gives the user an idea of the Store / personal sales level.  For example if Employee A had a productivity level of $389.  That would tell the user that Employee A makes on average $389 per hour.
Wk Targ Productivity, Mth Targ Productivity

This column shows the employees expected productivity level for a given time period. 

For this calculation, a minimum target productivity is defined in the parameter System::MinimumTargetProductivity. This parameter can be modified using Maintain Warehouse Parameters. Also refer to the article Workforce Performance Concepts for information on the calculation of the default individual employee performance targets.

If the default employee target calculated as described in Workforce Performance Concepts is less than the minimum target productivity, the minimum target productivity is show here. Otherwise the default target productivity is show.
WTD Non Sell Hrs, MTD Non Sell Hrs This is the total worked hours of the employee other than sales for the specific date range.
WTD Non Sell Hrs %, MTD Non Sell Hrs % This is the % of total worked hours of the employee other than sales for the specific date range.
